The department of physics is established in 1990. The department runs undergraduate course. As Physics is logic subject as per this department undertakes number of activity for the betterment of the students such as remedial coaching and guidance to slow and advanced learners. The department of physics is one of the prominent departments of the college. Staff members actively contribute to research through paper presentation, publications, and research projects. The department has a well-equipped laboratory. The department is located in an independent in large building (Second Floor). We focus on overall development of our students and hence we encourage them to take part in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities like NSS, DLLE, Cultural events, Sports and also in various college level and university level competitions. This helps to broaden their horizons of knowledge and also develop a healthy competitive spirit.

To establish a platform for the dissemination and creation the knowledge through teaching, Practical and research in Physics at various levels for Tribal Area and help to create a scientific society which encourages logical thinking.
